A “SECOND OF YOU” will capture your loved ones in a spontaneous moment-in a second of time-in a special expression, aspect of personality, or activity. These portraits are wonderful not only to memorialize loved ones, relations, friends, and someone you admire, but also to commemorate special occasions, and for those “glamour” shots. I can embrace a wide range of expression from the sweet innocence of family photos to tastefully intimate figure portraits. Whatever your preference, “A Second of You” portrait will be remembered and reflected upon for a long time to come.

I prefer to photograph using my own equipment and sense of framing, but will also be happy to work from an assortment of your pictures upon which we can both agree. A certain amount of artistic license would be gratefully accepted from my clients allowing me to include or exclude some photo details, and to possibly change background and /or enhance color. All of these factors would be discussed with my clients in advance so that we are in accord and satisfaction may be guaranteed.

That special “Second of You” will be permanently produced on canvas by means of a skillful combination of pastels and charcoal. These are not pastel drawings or sketches but rather fully developed pastel paintings. Pastels are utilized in such a way that the canvas disappears and your chosen ones emerge-real, viable, alive-outstanding works that art collectors, art lovers, and art buyers will treasure.
